HimFlora® is the next generation “Synbiotic” formulated for improved productivity and livability of poultry birds. HimFlora® is a unique blend of probiotics, herbal actives as prebiotics, and Phytoactives, which helps improve gut health, immunity, and digestion in birds.

HimFlora® is useful for the growth of birds, a better feed conversion ratio, modulation of intestinal microflora, pathogen inhibition, immunomodulation, and improving the broiler meat quality.

Key Ingredients

Probiotics

HimFlora® contains four strains of Bacillus species. These exert a probiotic role in HimFlora® to maintain gut integrity, inhibit pathogens, and improve digestion.

The specific role and mechanism of action of all four strains are:

Bacillus coagulans promotes beneficial microbes and inhibits pathogens through competitive exclusion.
Bacillus subtilis helps in promoting growth and secretes digestive enzymes like amylase, protease, and aids in digestion and utilization of nutrients.
Bacillus polymyxa aids in acid production, which lowers the gut pH and inhibits the growth of pathogenic bacteria.
Bacillus pumilus acts as a pathogen inhibitor by inhibiting the formation of biofilm by pathogenic organisms.

Prebiotic

Polysaccharides from Ginger act as a prebiotic, which improves gut health by enhancing the growth of beneficial bacteria, reducing gut inflammation.
β-Glucans optimize digestion by improving gut health by supporting the growth of lactic acid bacteria. β-glucans are fermented by the intestinal microbiota, resulting in the production of short-chain fatty acids (SCFA) and improving immunity by increasing the size of the bursa, thymus, and spleen.

Phytoactives

Turmeric extract provides anti-inflammatory and antibacterial actions in the gut. Turmeric improves digestion and helps in maintaining gut health.
Ginger improves the digestion of nutrients, and stimulates the growth and population of beneficial microorganisms in the gut.
